Many people ask me: Where did these words come from? My short answer: America. Being a Black woman in America inspired this movement. It inspired me to start the much-needed conversation about how we DO sisterhood in our daily lives. This is not just a shirt. This is a statement, a question, a challenge, and a call to action for all women of color to ask themselves: Are we enacting sisterhood or just saying it? What does sisterhood mean? How can we manifest more sisterhood in today's world?
